This artwork depicts six electrons surrounding a nucleus, flying out of the building of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This is the moment when Japan, the victim of nuclear bombing, started its own nuclear fission in the name of the flowery statement of “peaceful use of atomic power.”
